Carlie CONNOR

Carlie Connor is the co-founder, business manager, choreographer, and dancer of Labyrinth Dance Company. She graduated from Shippensburg University in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and  in 2018 with a MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She has been dancing since the age of 3 with training in numerus styles. In the past she has trained at Touch of Class, Oxford Center for Dance, and Delaware Dance Company. In 2010, she started a hip-hop program called “hippy-hop”, where she was able to give students ages 3-7 the opportunity to start training in this style at a young age.

Following her training at Oxford, she went on to audition and make the Shippensburg University Dance Troupe. While on the team, she held the positions of treasurer, assistant director, and director. Over the four years, Carlie was awarded overall dancer, leader of the year, and received the leader and dedication award from the university. Along with dancing on the Shippensburg University Dance Troupe, Carlie taught at Step by Step Dance studio. By her third year she was named principal instructor and competition director. Her competition pieces won many national titles as well as judge awards.

After graduating from Shippensburg University, Carlie went on to dance for Beyond Dance Company and FloMotion Dance Company. She currently teaches at KMC Dance and many other studios in the Tri-State area. She also currently serves on the board of a few emerging leaders organizations. Carlie is very grateful for the dancers of Labyrinth Dance Company and excited to watch it grow! 

Jasmine Zook

Jasmine Zook began her dance training at 13. Prior to dance she trained as a gymnast for five years. Jasmine graduated with her BFA in Dance from Adelphi University in 2014. She studied under world famous dancers such as; Frank Augustyn, Catherine Denisot-Lawrence, Orion Duckstein, and Flavio Salazar, to name a few. After graduation Jasmine joined Alchemy Dance Company (May 2014-July 2015), Beyond Dance Company (August 2014-June 2016), where she was the rehearsal director, choreographer and dancer.

In February 2016 Jasmine joined Roger Lee Dance Company and in March of 2017 she performed in MUSE created by Ren Liam. Currently she is the co-founder and artistic director of Labyrinth Dance Company (June 2016- present). Jasmine also teaches tumbling and toddler tap/ballet at Step by Steps Dance Expressions in North East Philadelphia and substitute teaches at Joan's Dance studio in Upland PA. She is looking forward to begin teaching at E'Chappe Dance Studio in the fall. Her love for dance has continued to blossom into a life long passion with the love and support of her husband and family.
